Molly Boutwell

Molly Boutwell, PharmD
Clinical Pharmacist

Molly is originally from Louisburg, NC and has been on staff at Carrboro Family Pharmacy since 2022. She holds a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.

Having grown up as the daughter of a pharmacist in central North Carolina and seeing the constant impact her mom had on the lives and health of others, it was only natural that she followed in her footsteps to a career in community pharmacy. She was open to all experiences during pharmacy school, but her community rotations, especially those in independent pharmacies, were what aligned with her passion.

When she’s not at the pharmacy, Molly enjoys staying active by as running, cycling, and weight lifting. She also loves cooking, cheering on the Tar Heels, spending time with family and her furry, 4-legged child “Kitty Kitty Kia.”

As the daughter of a U.S. Marine and Okinawan mother, Keiko became interested in healthcare after seeing the hurdles people in her hometown faced trying to navigate a complicated healthcare system.
